  1. What amazing pictures! We don’t get that kind of snow in South Carolina either.

  2. Lisa Grace says:

We had a white Christmas here in Birmingham last year and my kids were AMAZED … there wasn’t even 1/2 an inch of snow! That looks awesome — it’s what I grew up being from New England. Throw a snowball for me, would you?

    • Courtney Kirkland says:

I most definitely will. I remember getting snow in South Alabama a few times growing up and thought it was the most amazing thing ever.

  3. I don’t know if it’s the snow, your photography skills, or just plain nature, but his eyes are beautiful. Simply beautiful.

You live in Alaska – wow!

    • Courtney Kirkland says:

Aww, thank you! He gets his eyes from his daddy…I’m afraid he’ll break a few hearts when he’s older.

Yep! We live on Kodiak Island! Been here since January.

  4. He looks so happy in the snow! I love living on a cul-de-sac for that exact reason in the winter. Who needs a backyard when there’s a big snow pile full of kids in the front!

  5. Oh how i would love the snow for the holidays .. i am trying to create the whole Christmassy feel ALL over the house in FL … but know i would be over the cold by Jan1st 😉
Just wonderful shots, yes, those eyes, gonna break a few hearts xxx

    • Courtney Kirkland says:

We lived in Tampa for 3 years, so I understand completely how hard it is to make it “feel” like Christmas when the humidity is steady at 100%! Hope you guys at least get a break in temperatures this week!

  6. Galit Breen says:

Oh do I ever know this snow love! It’s BIG, isn’t it? This is stunning, as always, dear friend! xo

  7. I remember the quietness, that comes with everything covered in white. Just a load falling off the tree or the roof of the house. Ghe, I really miss the winter, well, sometimes at least. 😉 But on Xmas I will, for sure.

  8. Barbara says:

Such beautiful pictures! As a girl who grew up in AZ, I’m always amazed when I see so much snow!

  9. Lynn Kellan says:

WOW – Your neighborhood is ready for Christmas. We had snow on Halloween, but no sign of it in December so far…

    • Courtney Kirkland says:

We haven’t had any snow here since the middle of November…at least none that is sticking. We’re all hoping for A white Christmas, though!

  10. Beautiful pictures, Courtney. He has stunning eyes.

Thank you for linking up with Memories Captured!
