Oh, those little legs with bandages & the pacifier…makes me remember those days. Feel so bad for them when they get those shots. Definitely an image that most any parent can immediately connect with.

  2. First photo is just beautiful. Love those little legs.

You did a great job capturing those little things. I loved this post 🙂

  6. Megan says:

Courtney, oh the little babe with band-aids after shots is such an emotive image. It brings me back to that exact moment of motherhood and the vaccines. That is exactly why I love photography. Thanks for sharing these wonderful images.

  7. Angie says:

    Gorgeous detail shots!

  8. Maria says:

This post is awesome. I love the words and the pictures just flow right along with it. I love your processing style.
“These days are fleeting. These details will disappear.
So I choose to capture them.”
So well said, it makes my heart melt how true it is and how much they hit home.

  9. Alison says:

You capture these lovely moments beautifully!

  10. CJ Olson says:

It’s those memories that will quickly fade and then we will only have the memories and pictures of the little baby clenched hands, and the hair. I love how thick your son’s hair is and how long it is. Both my boys want to grow out their hair so we will see how long it will be before I finally give in and cut their hair. The band-aid pictures are good reminder of those fleeting moments of pain and how bad you feel for your kids. I love your writing style it takes me in and your pictures just enhance what you are saying.
