After I saw tons of tweets about this planner, I HAD to check it out. And with an obsession for all things organizey, papery, colorful, and new….I ended up buying one. I decided on the traditional color-striped cover and added some note pads. I’m SO EXCITED.

  2. Sarah says:

My Erin Condren Planner is pretty much the best $50 that I spend each year. Amazing.

  3. Lizzi S. says:

I saw your instagram pic of your planner and was instantly intrigued since I’m a planner/notebook junkie also. I too have tried every planner out there, attempted to create my own, attempted to use my phone… nothing has ever worked to my satisfaction. I hemmed and hawed over an Erin Condren planner (could I justify almost $100 on one?), and built my planner so many times before i took the plunge and clicked purchase. Of course, it took me forever to decide on a design and color scheme. From your review I’m so glad I bought it! (I’m just hoping my pens are decent enough!)

Beau is starting kindergarten in a little over 2 weeks and I know that life about to get busy. I already have a feeling I’ll forget about half day Fridays! Now if this planner could just do some housework…

    • Courtney says:

Haha. That’s the ONLY thing this planner is lacking. If they ever create one that will clean house or fold laundry, I’ll be all over it. Let me know when your planner arrives!! 🙂

  4. Hi there, this is my first visit at your blog! I saw you over at lifeRearranged and thought I’d hop over. Love your site and enjoyed your Planner post, lots. I’ll for sure be popping back in. 🙂

Congrats on the new baby news!

Two things to keep in mind:
-You can put your contact information on the inside front cover under “This is my life”.
-You should have gotten a “Welcome” discount code for your first order, which should help with the cost in the future. When you reach 5 orders, you get another promo code too. Keep an eye out for Daily Deals like Plum District etc. They often have $50 gift codes for only $25. Hopefully all of these will make your purchase next Fall a little less painful…
    As Erin says, Enjoy!

    • Courtney says:

Thank you, Stephanie! Like I mentioned above, I figured that the front inside cover was the place for personal info. We are a military family so etching something in Sharpie doesn’t work for me because we never know where we will be and for how long. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for Daily Deals, etc. Thanks so much!

  6. Hi, came across your blog via Erin Condren’s Pinterest page. I just received my life planner this past weekend and I love it. I love the idea of using the morning/day/night spots the way you did…I may consider utilizing it that way. One tip I have, because I’m a notebook junkie, is when I take some notes in my notebook, i.e. gym workout plan, blog ideas, to-do’s, I like to use a paperclip and attach the notebook page to the planner in the week that I’m in…sometimes planners don’t have enough room for all the notes you need. But that’s just me, lol. I actually posted about my Life Planner today on my blog!

    • Courtney says:

I do the same thing. I actually just ordered some “cute” paperclips because the ones I have (plain old ordinary office clips) just weren’t pretty enough to go with my planner. 🙂

  7. Ashley says:

Beautiful planner. I love my Erin Condren planner from last year and am just waiting to order next year’s until I can decide what design I want. So many choices! 🙂 What shade of blue is this?

    • Courtney says:

I’m not sure what shade mine is. It was the default teal that she offered on the site. She has the option to input your own color, but I loved this shade so much that I couldn’t change it. 🙂

  8. kristin says:

great post!! i love learning about new ways to get organized and i love having planners and notebooks around! this seems like such an awesome planner and i need to check it out! love the pictures you took of it!!

    • Courtney says:

Thank you, Kristin! If you’re a planner/notebook junkie then definitely check out her site. You may not want the planner, but she has tons of beautifully designed office supplies.

  9. Meagan says:

I used the Franklin Covey planners for years and loved them! But then I started using my iPhone for stuff and didn’t have that many appts to keep up with and didn’t think I needed it anymore. But i’m having hard time getting organized without someplace to write stuff down. I’ve been using a notebook I made with tabs and such, but it’s too big to travel with…maybe this EC planner would help.
    Thanks for your review!

    • Courtney says:

I am old school pen and paper all the way. I’ve tried using apps on my phone (and spent a tiny fortune downloading some that weren’t free) but it just didn’t work. Check these out if you need something smaller that will fit in your purse/diaper bag. Maybe a fun idea for a Christmas gift? : )

  10. the erincondren.com team says:

hi courtney! thanks so much for the great review… we love all feedback… pros and cons and really do listen each year as we improve. i put my contact info in the ‘this is my life’ section at the front, maybe try that?

anyway, glad you love your planner and we look forward to creating something special for you again soon! enjoy!

    • Courtney says:

Thank you, guys! I figured the section in the front was for personal information. I just hesitate to use permanent ink on it because being a military family, we will most likely be moving before I order a new planner. Thank you for such a quality product! I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have finally found THE planner that keeps me organized and together. 🙂
