Feature Friday

It’s that time again! Time for me to share some of my favorite posts from the week with all of you. I’ve gotten some good responses from this; some of you have found new blogs, others have seen traffic directed there way, so I’m glad to see that you guys are reading the blogs I suggest. This week is no different! I’ve got some good ones for you—all for different reasons.

• Goodbye Thomas by Playgroups are no Place for Children: I actually teared up when I read this one. Little Man has just started getting into the Thomas the Train phase and we are having so much fun with it. We recently bought him his own train table and a few tracks and cars to go along with it. He’s been spending hours hovering over that table to play and this post broke my heart when I started thinking about him growing up on me. But it was a GOOD post. Don’t let my weepiness stop you from reading!
• Exasperated or Refreshed? written by Mandi @ My Bloggy Life for a Guest Post at Reflections of Something: This post was a real eye-opener for me because I find myself feeling like Mandi nearly every single day. And I am well aware of the fact that I don’t make NEAR enough time for God, prayer, or Bible Study. It served as a really great reminder for me that some things just HAVE to come first. {Oh! And *hint hint* I’ll be guest posting at Reflections of Something next Wednesday! So make sure to check out this fabulous little blog!}
• iPhoneography hosted by Perfect Imperfections: I’ve recently become an iPod addict. Seriously. It’s the next best thing to a computer. I carry it with me everywhere. And Courtney has just started a weekly meme with the purpose of snapping photos of everyday things to inspire. She calls is iPhoneography but you don’t have to have an iPhone to play. Just some sort of smart-phone or device and the desire to play. You link up with a photo you’ve taken every Friday night and play along! It’s super fun!
• Kitchen Command Center Makeover by Tatertots & Jello: I was in LOVE with this when I saw it and just had to share! Such a neat idea and fabulous organization. Thinking of applying this idea in my kitchen…
• A Sleeping Baby Makes Everything Alright by Stephanie @ Polos, Pearls, & Pacifiers: Go read this post…now. An honest look at motherhood and the truth behind every women who has kids. We love our children, but there are those days…Stephanie documents it and explains it so well here. One of my absolute favorite posts from this week. Hands down.
