You know those times in life when you are walking around with a to-do list, a want-to-do list, a have-to-do list and then the I-don’t-even-want-to list all mocking you on any given day? That has been me the last several months. I have started quite a few little things here on this blog that have gotten pushed aside. Between everything that has been going on with Noah, the decision to adopt, and the holidays things that I wanted to write and share unintentionally got bumped back.

But…it’s a new year, and I’m determined to finish what I started.

Beginning tomorrow, I will be wrapping up the Fervent study. I have received countless emails from people looking for this study and it’s high time that I finish it. This book has been a life changer for me, and I’m looking forward to going back through it, re-examining the principles in it, and digging deeper and deeper into prayer in 2016. My plan is to post the Fervent Study on Tuesday and Thursday for the coming weeks until we have wrapped it up.

In the last few months I have seen the need for prayer come alive more than I ever have. This world, my marriage, my children, the souls of my friends and loved ones…all being attacked by the enemy. We have a very real enemy, friends. I’ve prayed with, cried with and held hands with loved ones and friends who just don’t know what to do or where to go. I’m hoping that by finishing this study I will have an even better understanding of HOW to pray and can better pray for all of you.

Along with Fervent on Tuesday and Thursday, I’ll be sharing at least one post in the continuation of the 31 Days of Breaking Religious Chains series. Again, I never intended to just put a halt on writing either of these series…but again, life. I’m more determined than ever to write and share my heart and what God is teaching me. I pray that you will stick with me!
